Westside of the home includes a three car driveway and access to the new covered porch and mudroom.
Eastside front porch was completely rebuilt. A balloon wall was erected to safely carry the new designs structural load. New side porch reflects the front porch style. On the westside there is an additional covered porch which leads into the new mudroom.
The primary closet was designed with flexibility in mind, allowing for a future conversion into a bedroom to enhance resale value. Thoughtful planning ensures ample storage while maintaining the functionality needed for an easy transition when the time comes.
Proposed exterior design of home. The existing home was a classic bungalow. The clients wanted to add a full second level and extend the existing footprint to include a mudroom, new stairwell to the basement, den and covered side porch. The foundation was replaced and excavated to increase the ceiling height to 9'-0".
